David Wells

David was educated at English Martyrs School in Leicester, Keele University, and later in Liverpool, where he trained as a teacher. In 1994 he was awarded a Master of Philosophy degree from Nottingham University. He began his career as a teacher in Ilkeston and went on to work for the Catholic Education Service in London, before becoming an Adult Education Adviser. He worked in the Diocese of Nottingham and then in the Diocese of Plymouth. He is a guest lecturer at three universities. 

As a public speaker David has had the privilege at leading and teaching all sorts of groups. From speaking to eight thousand young people at Wembley Stadium and similar numbers of teachers in the USA, to small groups of men at parish breakfasts or just a few volunteers in a parish meeting.
