Journeying with Jesus
A Companion's Guide

Jesus and the Gospels
36CDs & Book by Denis McBride C.Ss.R.

Fr Denis McBride C.Ss.R. reflectively guides us along the way of the cross. He contrasts the beauty and solemn simplicity of the more traditional Stations by artist Curd Lessig with modern images that challenge us to link Jesus’ story to the struggle of our everyday life.

This book develops a counter-cultural spirituality– a way of being that is a real gift for our present time.It looks at models of waiting in the biblical story, examines the ordeal of fear and anxiety in the midst of life, and offers a way of living the prayer of the eucharist – “we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our saviour, Jesus Christ.”

Journeying with Jesus is a deeply spiritual and lavishly resourced programme of study for those who want to journey side by side with our Lord during Lent, either individually or in small groups. We begin our journey in the wilderness and finally sit with him at the table before accompanying him to the cross.

These Fr Denis McBride C.Ss.R. lectures were recorded by a BBC sound engineer at Hawkstone Hall before a live audience of course participants. They cover the major moments of the Jesus story and they come with a free copy of the book which provides notes, graphs and illustrations to go with the lecture series.

A free Video Resource for Children

Redemptorist Publications is pleased to introduce Celebrate; an initiative designed to help children grow in their faith. Each week we will provide a video of the week’s Gospel reading, a reflection and a final prayer. Fun, engaging and practical worksheets/ resources will also be provided to help children continue to practise their faith during this season.
We pray that this new resource will encourage parishes, families and children to think about, grow and Celebrate their faith whilst having fun.
